By installing or using Eye Comfort Profiles, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the extension or site.

What the product does

The extension changes the visual presentation of regular websites using settings you choose. Some complex sites may partially override those settings, and browser-protected pages cannot be changed.

Not medical care

Eye Comfort Profiles is a reading utility, not a medical device. It does not test, diagnose, prevent, or treat astigmatism, low vision, eye strain, or any other condition. Seek qualified care for persistent discomfort or changes in vision.

Your responsibilities

Use settings that are comfortable and safe for you. Keep a backup if your profiles matter to you. Do not use the software to interfere with a site, evade access controls, or violate law.

Supporter purchase

The optional $12 supporter unlock is a one-time purchase for decorative faceplates. All reading controls remain free. Sociobot/Dodo is the merchant of record and handles checkout and refunds. A refund revokes the related license automatically. A license may be restored on your own devices using the token from your receipt.

Availability and warranty

The software is provided “as is” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law. We may update or discontinue it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use.

Open-source license

The source code is available under the MIT License. These service terms govern use of the hosted site and supporter purchase; the MIT License governs the software source.

Changes

Material changes will be dated on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
